Excellent service from start to finish - I'd recommend Ampthill Fireplaces to anyone looking for a new fireplace solution. The team completely transformed our living room by replacing our old condemned gas fireplace with a new gas-powered stove, which included the necessary demolition and plastering to create the space for it, as well as fitting a new mantle, hearth, stove chamber, chimney cowl AND gas line, all with 2 days of work. Thank you to James and the team at the shop for talking us through our options, co-ordinating the work between the various parties involved and clearly communicating dates and updated invoices (we probably weren't the easiest customers provided we requested multiple amendments to our order!)We'd also like to extend an extra special thank you to Johnny and Kane, who had the big job of excavating the old and fitting the new (which they did quickly, cleanly and to a better finish than we could have hoped for - as proven by all of the comments we've had on it by recent guests!), as well as to Alex for coming out at such short notice to assess the gas line and the plasterers for working so cleanly and efficiently. The whole team were extremely friendly, happy to answer any questions we had about the work, and most importantly of all, have given us a living room which we can now comfortably live in through the winter.
Have just been into their showroom they have 3 floors of display seem to be very professional in their approach famous run business employ their own people so it would seem awaiting them to the out and carry out a survey for the work
Went in for some advise on my wood burner Stove. Staff very helpful & knowledgeable. Feel like I bought the right products. I'd reccomend these guys. When & if I require more Stove related products, I'd go here. Thank you
